The Silk & Spine membership

$69
a month

One subscription, two things: a sixty minute treatment included every month, and a lower price on everything else for as long as you stay a member.

One treatment included, every month

Choose the Daily Head Spa, a Swedish Massage or a Deep Tissue Massage, sixty minutes, and choose again each month. An unused month carries forward for as long as your membership stays active. One included treatment can be used per day, so a carried-forward month is taken on a separate visit.

Member pricing on everything

Every treatment on this page drops by $20 for members, on every visit, with no cap on how often you come. A member can also book and pay for a guest at the member price, when the guest is in the same appointment as the member.

Members only

Member pricing is for subscribed members and is applied to your booking when you sign in to your account. Membership starts with a signed agreement, so the first step is an email to the studio.

Membership terms: $69 a month, charged automatically to the card on file until you cancel. Membership begins with a signed agreement. Cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. The included monthly treatment is one sixty minute Daily Head Spa, Swedish Massage or Deep Tissue Massage. It is not exchangeable for cash and cannot be put toward the price of a different treatment, and only one included treatment may be used per day. Unused months carry forward while the membership is active and end when the membership ends. Member pricing applies only while the membership is active, and extends to a guest only when the guest is booked into the same appointment as the member.

Your visit, in order

What actually happens, minute by minute

Timings below are for a 75-minute head spa. Longer treatments stretch the middle, never the arrival or the aftercare.

1

Arrival and intake

Coat, phone in the cabinet if you want it there, and a short form covering headaches, sleep, medication and anything sore. If it is your first visit, this is where we photograph your scalp.

0 to 10 min
2

Reading and plan

You see your own scalp on screen at 200x, or your posture from the side, depending on the booking. The therapist explains what they are seeing and what they intend to do about it. You can say no to any of it.

10 to 18 min
3

Cleanse and release

The working half of the session. Deep cleanse and nutrient infusion for the scalp, trigger point and mobilisation for the spine. Pressure is checked out loud twice, and most people ask for more.

18 to 50 min
4

Hydrotherapy and quiet

Warm water falling over the scalp with the lights down, or heat along the erector chain. Nobody talks. This is the part guests describe when they try to explain the treatment to someone else.

50 to 68 min
5

Aftercare and out

Dry-off, herbal tea, and five minutes on the one drill and one desk change that will hold the work. Filmed on your phone so you remember it. Rebooking happens by email later, not while you are standing there.

Questions we get every week

It is a clinical scalp treatment rather than a shampoo with a massage attached. The sequence is diagnosis, deep cleanse, nutrient infusion, acupressure and a warm-water rinse, designed to clear the follicle, increase circulation to the scalp bed and settle the nervous system. It typically runs 60 to 90 minutes and leaves the hair clean and dry, not oiled.

Scalp therapy improves the environment hair grows in: build-up, sebum balance, circulation and inflammation. Guests dealing with oiliness or early thinning usually notice a difference in how the scalp feels after one session and how the hair sits after three or four. It is not a medical treatment for hair loss, and if the reading shows something that belongs with a dermatologist, we will tell you that instead of selling you a course.

Start with a Deep Tissue Massage if the pain sits across the neck, shoulders and upper back. If the headaches come with poor sleep or a scalp that feels tight, choose the S&P Signature or Deluxe Head Spa instead, because the scalp and the neck belong to the same chain and the head spa treats both.

Treatments run from $89 for a sixty minute session to $249 for the ninety minute couples massage. Members pay $20 less on every treatment. Full pricing for each option is listed on this page and confirmed again when you choose your slot.

It is $69 a month, charged automatically to the card on file. Every month your membership includes one sixty minute treatment: the Daily Head Spa, a Swedish Massage or a Deep Tissue Massage, and you choose again each month. An unused month carries forward for as long as the membership stays active, and one included treatment can be used per day, so a carried-forward month is taken on a separate visit.

Members also pay $20 less than the listed price on every treatment, on every visit, with no cap. A member can book and pay for a guest at the member price when the guest is booked into the same appointment as the member, including on couples treatments.

Membership begins with a signed agreement, so email the studio and we will send it over. You can cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. Any unused months end when the membership does, and the included treatment cannot be exchanged for cash or put toward a different treatment.

Please do not. Arriving with a day or two of natural build-up gives the camera something honest to read and makes the deep cleanse more effective. Skip dry shampoo on the day if you can.

For scalp health, every four to six weeks holds the result. For desk-related neck and spine work, most guests start fortnightly for a month, then settle at monthly once the pattern breaks. If your homework is working, you should need us less over time. That is the point.

It should read as productive pressure, never as bracing. Your therapist checks in at fifteen and forty minutes, and you can change the pressure at any moment without explaining yourself. Some tenderness the next day is normal after a first deep tissue session. Sharp pain during it is not, and it means we adjust.

Yes. Four treatments on the menu are built for two guests side by side in a private room, at sixty or ninety minutes each. A member can book and pay for a guest who is not a member at the member price, provided the guest is in the same appointment as the member. Gift certificates are available for any treatment and never expire. For teams, we run half-day on-site chair clinics and studio buyouts. Email the studio and we will put together timings.
